Originally released in 2008, What You Were, North was hailed by critics as a success, and as a departure from the purely instrumental style which defined the band's earliest work. Featuring an eclectic variety of vocal styles, WYW's aesthetic is timeless, and now, for the first time, available on vinyl. North, Ohio based independent record label Cavity Records, and Michael Kadnar (drummer for Black Table and Downfall of Gaia) label Silent Pendulum Records have teamed up to deliver a limited pressing of 250 (100 white / 150 black).

Terra Tenebrosa "V.I.T.R.I.O.L. - Purging The Tunnels" + EU Tour

Terra Tenebrosa's V.I.T.R.I.O.L. - Purging The Tunnels marks the transformation of the main figure behind Terra Tenebrosa, The Cuckoo, from the albums The Tunnels (2011) to The Purging (2013).
This makes totally sense, because the record features two lenghty tracks from both album recording sessions. Side A track "Draining The Well" is once again a nearly 18 minutes long, oppressing journey through both, the dark mind of The Cuckoo as well as the listener‘s. It finally erupts from dark ambiances into a loud, violent final. Side B track "Apokatastasis" has with just about 7 minutes a more straight-forward approach, with guitars well known from Breach. "Apokatastasis" was the first sign ever from The Cuckoo, it gave birth to Terra Tenebrosa and what became The Tunnels and The Purging. Underlying both tracks are those strange, buzzig vocals, which evoke numerous dark stories and events in the listener‘s mind. Again and again.

Cousin Sleaze New EP, US Tour and New Video

Brooklyn based dark hardcore quartet Cousin Sleaze announcing lots of cool stuff for 2014. Two years of great band activity resulted in a 6 song release "Sick Maniacs" in 2012 recorded at Treehouse Recording Studio (NY), 7" vinyl split with Pittsburgh hardcore heavyweights Slaves BC, and did a tour in a crappy wan, playing around 45 shows from Chicago to Florida. Cousin Sleaze is reaching out the world with a several great announcements: new EP, new video and tour dates.

New EP! The EP will be out January 7th (digital only as "NYP") and was recorded by Karl Wenninger at NY Sports Club Studios and mastered at the famous West West Side mastering house in NY. Two new tracks "Still Screaming" & "Too Many Days" featuring guest vocals AJ Channer from Ashes Within streaming below.

Gladiators Eat Fire “Get A Real Job” western US tour begins October 11th.
In just under a month, Seattle’s heavy psychedelic hardcore rockers Gladiators Eat Fire will be embarking on a two week trek designated the “GET A REAL JOB” Tour. Having been over a year since last being able to hit the road, the band is eager to unleash a new wave of massive riffs, stoney psychedelia, and heavy grooves upon the western US.

Gladiators Eat Fire will be hitting cities down the west coast before heading back up through the major markets of the southwest. With their new tunes road tested, the band will then be entering the infamous Red Room Studio to record with local icon Matt Bayles.
